Eight of us embarked on San Francisco late Saturday morning.  San Francisco is a mere ferry ride (boat transportation is for people, not cars) away from the Vallejo Waterfront and the 939 Makers Hub.  Walk, Bike, Run, whatever your choice.  939 Makers Hub offers an amazing waterfront location with an abundance of transportation to all of the San Francisco Bay, Napa Valley and the Silicon Valley.

A big thanks to Richard Abbot from Signworks.com for inviting the 939MakersHub crew.  Signworks is a member of the 939MakersHub network.  Signworks specializes in the custom fabrication of store front signs, custom event signage and large format print.  To read more about Richard Abbot click here, to read about the services his company Signworks, LLC provides click here.

Our trip began with an awesome lunch at local San Francisco Favorite Zeke’s Sports Bar and Grill, check them out by clicking here.

From there we walked off the few beers we had while enjoying the scenic streets of downtown San Francisco.  For those of you not familiar with the San Francisco Giants Ballpark allow me to introduce you to one of the finest baseball parks in all of Major League Baseball.  Situated directly on the San Francisco shoreline, you have absolutely breath taking views of the entire San Francisco Bay.  It doesn’t stop at the views.  The ballpark also offers a lot of kid friendly activities that are great for

families to enjoy.  From two massive slides that work there way around and down a over sized coke-a-cola bottle to a interactive pitching camp for the kids.  There  is surely something to do (you can see some of the kids activities by clicking here).  Sitting from nearly any seat in the park you can watch  boats come and go from McCovey Cove.  McCovey Cove is a popular spot for boating folks and kayaks to swarm around,  in hopes of catching a home run ball.  The ferry service that is just blocks from the 939 Makers Hub  has a service line that is specifically for San Francisco Giants Games and pulls right up to the park in McCovey Cove!
